Hola!
Happy New Year and congratulations on your move to Mexicali. Sounds like you are both enjoying it very much.
I am a Canadian looking to move to Baja and came across your blog. I was wondering if you have an email address or U.S. phone number as I have unlimited Canada/US long distance calling. I would love to talk to you about Mexicali as I was looking at Rosarito area, but real estate is too highly priced for my budget as I want to retire now (I’m 49) and my Canadian social security doesn’t kick in until 65. I am a golf fanatic and found a great golf course in Mexicali, but they don’t have a website. I would very much appreciate any info. you could provide me.
Please help a Canadian who is so very tired of snow and cold weather.
Muchos Gracias i Feliz año Neuvo !!

Michael- Thanks very much for your post. You can always send me and email at mexicalimaryann@gmail.com, and I can try to answer your questions. Mexicali is great for us – but maybe not for everybody. MaryAnn
Hi Maryann, Just found you on the web and you have some good info. My wife Pauline and I were just there on Thus. the 6th jan. to check out the Doctor situations. My wife needs an operation for a torn rotator cuff and we don’t have insurance. Can you tell me of a Doctor for that type of surgury or the Phone# for your Dr. Arturo or that other Dr. you have used so we can call to ask some questions on getting this taken care of. We are in an RV park in Buckeye now and will be moving down there some place close in Feb. for the operation. So we could use some info help on this. Thanks.
Hi Bill and Pauline: I received your comment. I suggest you start with Dr. Arturo. He is a great doctor and will refer you to the right specialist. You can walk into his office from 9:00am to 2:00pm, and from 4:00pm until 7:00pm Monday thru Friday. Saturday, he closes at 5:00pm, and Sunday he is closed. You can walk in anytime. It’s 6:05 here in Mexicali, and I just called Dr. Arturo, but his office closes today at 5:00pm. I will send you his contact info in a separate email. He only speaks Spanish, so if you can have a Spanish speaker available, that would be a help.

Doesn’t it take up a lot of time to keep your blog so interesting ?
